I have been having lots of fun making visualizations of polymer processes like the above animation of the early stages of polymer crystallization. The video shows three polymer chains from a polymer melt. The surrounding chains are not shown for clarity. The orange circles correspond to sections of the polymer chains becoming crystalline.
